  Qingdao Sight-seeing TV Tower
The Qingdao Sightseeing TV Tower is 348 meters above sea level. It is locted on Taiping Hill in the tourism center of Qingdao, with Zhongshan Park, Qingdao Arboretum, and Zhanshan temple in its close vicinity. Apart from its function as a television tower, it also serves as a major Qingdao tourist attraction. From the top of the tower visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Qindao picturesque seaside scenery. On April 28th, 2001, a special hall inside the tower was dedicated to the promotion of knowledge about the Olympics As the only one of its kind in China, it has become an important national venue for promotion of Olympic ideals.
