Nine-Lion Dance

Nine-Lion Dance: This dance was originally staged by villagers in Jimo in 1924 and is ususally performed by 12 people, 4 playing mother lions and 7 playing baby lions which play with a colored silk ball held by a man. The performers must have some martial arts skills to mimic the movements and manners of real lions
